Julie Fagan, Licensed Veterinary Technician (right)
Julie is a graduate from Macomb Community College's Veterinary Technician's program with an Associate's degree in 2003.  She is works along side  with our cardiologist, Dr. William Brown and  Dr. DeSana our Cardio resident.  She has a small terrier, "Zoey" and a cat, "Willie".  Julie's special request is that we all keep our military in our prayers and wish them a safe return home.

Liz Koval, Licensed Veterinary Technician (right)
Graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor in Biology in May 2001 and WCCC Veterinary Technology Program in May 2002. She has worked several years in private practice and in surgical research. She has 2 cats "Napoleon" and "Dusty".  Loves softball, reading, and being with friends and family!

Debra has over 16 years of experience in veterinary medicine,including a feline exclusive practice, oncology, emergency and critical care and avian practice. Special interests: cranky cats and hyperactive dogs. She is married and busy with a young son,several cats,"Sophie" a Shepherd Sheltie Mix, "Graycie" a Border Collie, cockatiel "Louie" and goldfish "Spit Spot and Aargh".
Sharon Wassmann,  Licensed Veterinary Technician (right)
A graduate of MSU's Veterinary Technology Program in 1987.  She has worked in small animal practice and Biomedical Research.  Enjoys bingo, softball, gardening, crafts,and watching football and hockey.  Married with a four-legged child- a Chocolate Labrador named "Breeze".
Sue Chinchak, Licensed Veterinary Technician (left)
Sue is a graduate of Wayne County Community College Veterinary Technology program and also holds a Masters of Science in Resource Management and Ecology from the University of Michigan. She has two daughters and a houseful of pets that keep her busy.  In her spare time she enjoys gardening, hunting and fishing.

Hanne was raised in upstate New York.  She went to school in Pittsburgh. She has experience in general practice, specialty, large animal and emergency
medicine.  Her pets include 2 cats  "Stud and Frank" ,  2 dogs  "Basia  and Kenny" and many fish.  Her hobby is reading.

Juli is a 1996 graduate from Alma College with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Science with a Chemistry minor.  Her further education is from Wayne State and Oakland Universities which focused on Anatomical Pathology and then finished with a Veterinary Technician degree from Wayne County Community College.  She has experience in general veterinary medicine and specialized in a feline only practice.  Her interests include: biking, fishing, rollerblading, running, playing soccer and working out.  The company of her friends and family are important to her.  She has two daughters and 2 cats "Maici and Taz".

Sheila has been involved in veterinary medicine since 1977 when she graduated from Wayne County Community College's Veterinary Technology program.  She worked from 1977 to 1990 in general practice and from 1999 to present in the emergency and critical care field.  She also is a Registered Nurse and has taught a Veterinary Assistant class since 1997.  Sheila has 3 children, 1 dogs, a large aquarium, pond, and maintains U.S.A.'s first Norwegian Forest Cat Cattery (shows and breeds).  Her hobbies include gardening, digital photography, computer addiction and web site building.

Bobbi Foster, Licensed Veterinary Technician (left)
Bobbi, graduated from Macomb Community College Veterinary Technology program in 2004.  She has had a love of emergency medicine from day one!  Her very quiet and soothing manner brings comfort and ease to the families and patients of the ER.  Bobbi enjoys gardening, going to  baseball games and just "lazing" around with her beloved 3 dogs, 3 cats.
Andrea McLaughlin, Licensed Veterinary Technician - (left)
Andrea is a 1998 graduate of Michigan State University's veterinary technology program.  She also has a B.S. in Animal Behavior and Neurology.  She has worked in a veterinary medicine  for many years and enjoys working in emergency medicine.  When she is not working, she spends most of her time with her husband and daughter, 3 cats and 1 dog.  Her hobbies include jewelry making, pottery, metalsmithing, reading and gardening.

Richard Brown, Veterinary Technician (right)
Richard, veterinary technician, is from Pontiac, MI.  He has a broad experience base in the many varieties of veterinary practice.  Rich has been involved with animal shelter medicine and adoptive family education.  He also has extensive day practice as well as more specialized talents in the fields of pharmacology, hematology and particularly pain management.  In his limited spare time, Rich is an ardent fan and student of jazz and classical music.  He and his wife share a home with 2 dogs and 4 cats, all of whom seem to prefer his side of the bed and cannot understand why trumpet practice is always interrupting their nap time!
Cheryl Carsley, Licensed Veterinary Technician (right)
Cheryl is a graduate of Wayne County Community College Veterinary Technology program.  She also has a BBA from Western Michigan University.  She worked in private parctice and is now enjoying working in emergency care.  When she is not at work, she is working at her horse boarding facility.  She has  1 dog, 2 cats, 3 horses and a pony.  In her spare time she enjoys riding dressage, camping, reading and mostly spending time with her husband and 2 children.

Melissa Erickson, Veterinary Assistant
Melissa was born and raised in Elyria, Ohio.  She has worked for 5 years in the veterianry field.  Her interests include: fostering cats and kittens, ghost hunting, working and caring for animals (reptiles and wildlife).
Nicole Schlief, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Nicole was born in Florida and raised in Michigan. She has an associate of applied science degree in Veterinary Technology from Macomb Community College and has worked in the field for 11 years.  Her family includes her husband and 3 children. Her main interest is spending time with her family and setting up her salt water aquariums.
Dominique Rommel-Neumann, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Dominique was born and raised in Kalzyk, Belgium and has an associate of applied science degree in Veterinary Technology.  Her expertise of 11 years is in small, large , exotic animals as well as birds and emergency medicine.  She is married and has two boys.  Her interests include: traveling, learning different cultures, photography, scrapbooking, cooking and eating, skiing and just being outdoors .
Sara White, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Sara was born and raised in Clinton Township, Michigan.  She graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Macomb Community College and a baccalaureate in zoology from Michigan State University. She has been in the veterinary field for  8 years.  Her family includes her parents and and younger brother.  Sara's interests are music, collegiate sports and spending time with friends. She is the owner of a black Labrador retriever named "Royal".

Esther was born and raised in Sirgen, Germany.  She graduated from the Macomb Community College Veterinary Technology program in 2007.  She has been in veterinary medicine practice just over a year.  Esther enjoys hiking, acrylic painting, collages color pencil drawing and spending time with her pets, Lukas the Golden Retriever, and 2 cats.  She also participates in the fostering of cats.
Rebecca Harris, Licensed Veterinary Technician - (left)
Rebecca graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Macomb Community College in 1987.  She has worked with exotic animals in day practice since graduation and is now enjoying working in emergency care.  Becky shares her life with  her husband, 2 lively boys, 2 dogs, 4 cats, 3 bearded dragons, 2 guinea pigs, 1 dove and assorted fish.  When ther is spare time she enjoys camping, walking, horseback riding and scrapbooking.

Linda Leannais, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Linda was born in Dearborn Heights and grew up in Livonia.  She has an Associate of Science degree and a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife. She has worked in veterinary medicine for over 12 years and has been licensed for over 5 years. She has 1cat "Oliver", 4 dogs  Linda's interests are snowmobling, skiing, rollerblading and traveling, especially to the upper penisula.

Dana Towler, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Dana, born in Indianapois, Indiana and rasied in Toledo, Ohio has a Bachelor of Scince degree in biology and an Associate of Science degeree in Veterinary Technology.  She has worked in the filed for over 10 years.  Dana's family consists of a husband, 2 woderful children, and 5 dogs.  Her interests are scrapbooking, horses and her family.

Jana Jewett, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Jana was born in Mount Clemens and Raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan . She has an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology and has been working for over 12 years in veterinary medicine.  HEr family consist of her parents and 2 sisters.  Jana's interests aare sewing, crossstitch and movie watching.  Her pets include: 6 cats and 1 Golden Retriever.
